Description

Craving the ultimate comfort food? Philly Steak Cheese Fries deliver just that—crispy golden fries piled high with thinly shaved ribeye steak, melty provolone cheese, and sautéed peppers. Whether you need quick dinner ideas, game-day snacks, or indulgent food ideas for gatherings, this easy recipe hits all the marks. It’s an irresistible fusion of a Philly cheesesteak and loaded fries that turns heads and satisfies cravings.

Ingredients

28 oz frozen French fries

1 lb shaved ribeye or sirloin steak

1 ½ cups provolone cheese, shredded or sliced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 red bell pepper, diced

½ cup onion, sliced (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

1. Preheat oven and bake fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.

2. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet and sauté bell peppers (and onions if using) for 5–7 minutes until tender. Set aside.

3. In the same skillet, cook shaved steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder over medium heat until browned and cooked through.

4. Transfer baked fries to an oven-safe skillet or dish. Top with peppers, onions, and steak.

5. Layer provolone cheese over everything. Bake for 5 more minutes until cheese is melted.

6. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Make sure the steak is sliced paper-thin for quick cooking and tenderness.

For extra crunch, broil for 1-2 minutes after adding cheese—but watch closely!
