Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs, 6 tablespoons melted butter, and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Press into a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes. Set aside.
2. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup brown sugar, corn syrup, 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir over medium heat until thickened. Fold in 1 cup chopped pecans. Pour over the baked crust.
3. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup brown sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and 3 eggs (one at a time). Mix gently and pour over the pecan layer.

5. Refrigerate overnight. For topping, simmer heavy cream, 2 tablespoons butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and 1 cup pecans until thick. Pour over chilled cheesecake before serving.
