Description

Roasted Parmesan Green Beans are a crispy, cheesy, and flavorful side dish made with fresh green beans, olive oil, garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Ingredients

1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for extra crunch)

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and thoroughly dry the green beans, then trim the ends.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the grated Parmesan and breadcrumbs (if using) and toss again to coat evenly.
  5. Spread the green beans out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until tender and slightly crispy.
  7. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end.
