Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
8 ounces linguine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce, adding pasta water as needed.
8. Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan for the best melt and flavor.
Don’t overcook the chicken—keep it juicy and tender for the best results.
