Ingredients
8 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme or parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
3. Pat chicken thighs dry and arrange them skin-side up on the sheet pan.
4. Brush thighs generously with maple glaze, reserving some for later.
5. Roast for 30–35 minutes until chicken is cooked through and skin is crispy.
6. Remove from oven, brush with remaining glaze, and broil for 2–4 minutes until caramelized.
7. Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley before serving.
Notes
Patting the chicken dry before baking helps the skin crisp up better.
You can substitute honey for maple syrup if preferred, but it will slightly alter the flavor.
