Ingredients

32 oz frozen meatballs

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

Optional: green onions, sliced

Optional: sesame seeds


Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar to create the teriyaki sauce.

2. Place frozen meatballs in the slow cooker. Pour sauce over the meatballs and toss to coat.

3. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.

4. In the last 30 minutes, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.

5. Continue cooking uncovered until the sauce is glossy and thick.

6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For homemade meatballs, pre-cook before adding to the slow cooker.

You can double the sauce if you prefer extra glaze for rice or noodles.
