Ingredients
4 large crusty bread rolls
12 ounces spaghetti
1 pound ground beef
2 cups marinara sauce
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
4. Stir the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper into the beef. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce.
6. Slice the tops off the bread rolls and hollow out the centers, leaving a sturdy shell.
7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the inside and edges of each bread bowl generously.
8. Fill each bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
9. Top each bowl with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
10. Place the filled bowls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden at the edges.
11. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use sturdy bakery rolls or small boules so the bowls hold the filling without falling apart.
Do not overfill the bread with extra sauce, or the bottoms can soften too quickly during baking.
