Ingredients
1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1/4 cup pasta water (reserved)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cut chicken into bite-sized chunks and season with Cajun seasoning. Let rest 10 minutes.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet on medium-high. Sear chicken in batches until golden, about 3–4 minutes per side. Set aside.
3. In same skillet, reduce heat. Add butter and garlic, stir until fragrant. Stir in honey and let it bubble gently. Add cream if using.
4. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain.
5. Return chicken to skillet and toss in sauce. Add pasta and reserved water. Toss to coat evenly.
6. Garnish with parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
Let chicken rest after seasoning for maximum flavor penetration.
Add cream at the end for a silkier, richer sauce texture.
