Ingredients
1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into cubes
10 ounces rotini pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons cream cheese
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Bring salted water to a boil. Cook rotini until al dente, drain, and set aside.
2. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in skillet over high heat. Sear steak bites 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Set aside.
4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
5. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in cream cheese until melted. Add parmesan and stir until smooth.
6. Toss in cooked rotini and mix well. Season to taste.
7. Plate pasta and top with steak bites. Garnish with parsley and chili flakes. Serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan for the best melt and flavor.
Swap steak with grilled chicken or shrimp for a variation.
