Ingredients
1 cup long grain white rice (uncooked)
2 cups beef broth (or vegetable broth)
1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In an 8×8 inch baking dish, mix rice, broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cut butter into pats and lay evenly on top of rice mixture. Do not stir.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
