Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/3 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

1 teaspoon red chili flakes or 1 tablespoon hot sauce


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F or set air fryer to 400°F. Pat wings dry with a paper towel.

2. In a large bowl, toss wings with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until well coated.

3. Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet or place in air fryer basket.

4. Bake for 40–45 minutes (or air fry for 25–30 minutes), flipping halfway.

5. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, vinegar, and chili flakes. Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until thickened.

6. Toss cooked wings in the glaze while hot to coat evenly.

7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or sides.

8. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in oven or air fryer.

Notes

For crispier wings, make sure they are completely dry before adding cornstarch.

You can double the sauce and reserve some for dipping.
