Ingredients
6 phyllo dough sheets
6 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a muffin tin with nonstick spray.
2. Cut phyllo dough into squares and layer 5-6 sheets in each muffin cup, brushing melted butter between each layer.
3. In a bowl, mix chopped pecans, walnuts, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
4. Spoon the nut mixture into each phyllo cup, filling generously.
5. Bake for 18-20 minutes until the cups are golden brown and crisp.
6. While baking, heat honey, brown sugar, and heavy cream in a saucepan for 3-4 minutes.
7. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
8. When cups are baked, pour warm syrup over each cup.
9. Let cool slightly before serving.
