Ingredients
2 ripe Hass avocados
1 small tomato, diced
¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
1 small jalapeño, minced (seeds removed for less heat)
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
¼ tsp ground cumin (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocados with a fork until your desired consistency is reached (chunky or smooth).
- Add the diced tomato, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and garlic (if using).
- Pour in the lime juice and sprinkle with salt and cumin.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
