Ingredients
120 g mascarpone cheese
60 ml heavy cream
50 g powdered sugar
1 tsp espresso powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
100 g ladyfinger crumbs
150 g dark chocolate (melted)
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone, cream, sugar, espresso powder, and vanilla. Whip until fluffy.
2. Fold in crushed ladyfingers until it forms a scoopable dough. Chill 30 minutes.
3. Roll tablespoon-sized balls and refrigerate for another 15–20 minutes.
4. Dip chilled balls in melted chocolate. Place on a tray to set.
5. Once set, dust generously with cocoa powder and serve.
Notes
Chill the truffle filling well before rolling—it makes shaping much easier.
For an extra twist, you can add a splash of coffee liqueur to the filling.
