Ingredients

12 ounces rotini pasta

3 cups cooked chicken, shredded

2 cups ham, diced

2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded

1 can cream of chicken soup, 10.5 ounces

1 cup milk

1 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 1/2 cups buttery crackers, crushed

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 tablespoon parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Cook the rotini in salted water until al dente, then drain well.

3. In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.

4. Add the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, diced ham, and 1 1/2 cups of the Swiss cheese. Stir until everything is evenly coated.

5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.

6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup Swiss cheese over the top.

7. In a small bowl, mix the crushed buttery crackers, melted butter, and Parmesan cheese.

8. Sprinkle the cracker topping evenly over the casserole.

9. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.

10. Let the casserole rest for 5 to 10 minutes, then finish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for the best shortcut and plenty of flavor without extra prep.

Do not overcook the pasta before baking or the casserole can turn too soft after it comes out of the oven.
