Description
Golden, fluffy, and packed with gooey melted cheese, these Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs are the kind of easy recipe I make when I want a quick appetizer, easy snack, game day bite, or fun side dish that everyone reaches for first. Each piece is wrapped around mozzarella, baked until beautifully golden, then brushed with rich garlic butter and finished with parmesan and parsley for a warm, savory bite that fits right into party food ideas, easy dinner sides, and comfort food cravings.
Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 16 cubes
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish or sheet pan.
2. Separate the biscuit dough and gently flatten each piece with your hands.
3. Place one cube of mozzarella in the center of each piece of dough.
4. Wrap the dough around the cheese and pinch the seams tightly to seal.
5. Place each dough ball seam-side down in the prepared pan.
6. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt.
7. Brush the tops of the dough balls with half of the garlic butter mixture.
8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
9. Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining garlic butter.
10. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and parsley, then serve warm.
Notes
Seal the dough very well around the cheese so it stays inside while baking.
Serve these warm for the best gooey cheese pull and richest flavor.
