  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 cup milk
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • Prepare three bowls: one with milk, one with shredded cheddar, and one with crushed crackers. Dip each chicken breast in milk, coat with cheddar, then press into cracker crumbs.
  • Place coated chicken in a greased baking dish. Drizzle melted butter over the top. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30–35 minutes until chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden.
  • In a saucepan, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and a splash of milk. Heat on low until warm and creamy.
  • Drizzle sauce over the chicken or serve on the side for dipping.

Notes

For extra crunch, use panko crumbs instead of Ritz crackers. Add a pinch of garlic powder to the sauce for more flavor.
