  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 burger buns, toasted
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 8 slices pickles
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (for sauce)
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (for sauce)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Combine buttermilk and hot sauce in a bowl. Add chicken and marinate 2 hours or overnight.
  • Mix flour, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Beat eggs separately. Dip marinated chicken in eggs, then coat with flour mixture.
  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  • Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, hot sauce, and fresh dill. Mix until smooth.
  • Spread sauce on toasted buns, add lettuce, chicken, pickles, and top with extra sauce. Serve hot.

Notes

Reheat leftover chicken in an oven or air fryer to keep it crispy. For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne to the sauce.
