Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin or tenderloin steak tips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Toss steak tips with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high. Sear steak tips 2-3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and keep warm.
  • Boil penne in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water. Drain.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and add heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan and whisk until smooth. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.
  • Toss penne in the sauce, top with steak tips, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the steak marinade. Use freshly grated Parmesan for the creamiest sauce.
